MANBEARD

WWF GOLDEN ERA SUPERSTARS

New set of illustrations, (and new set of cards). Some of the greats from when it was still WWF, drawn in black ink then digitally colored and printed on bright white 100lb cover weight paper.

More bird drawing. This one's a hooded vulture drawn in black ink on newsprint with some collaged details.

NEW PACKAGING

Ooooh, new packaging for my card sets. Modeled after that cheap, delicious gas station candy we all know and love. It's a clear cellophane envelope sealed with a fold over paper label featuring some sweet little monsters and my name. With enough space for hole punching, these packages can sit on a table or be hung on pegs.

(available at the SHOP NEXT DOOR in Cedar Rapids, IA or on my ETSY PAGE)

FLAPPER G'MA

My Grandma and her friend wearing flapper hats, a sketch.

MOM AS A CHILD

Ink and colored pencil drawing on a 5"x7" piece of drawing paper during an eight hour (double decker) bus ride. This drawing is loosely based on a childhood photo of my mom.

NATURALLY WARM

Ohhhh, look at those legs. Maybe it's a man, maybe it's a lady. Either way, don't they look warm? Print of an ink illustration that's been digitally colored and collaged then made into a lovely little greeting card.

Cards are printed on creamy colored 80lb cover weight paper and come in packs of five (with envelopes). Available in my etsy shop!

WHAT A HAT

What a hat! A character, from an old-time photo I found, who is wearing the most flamboyantly feathered hat. An ink drawing with watercolor accents on a 6"x6" piece of watercolor board. ...mmmmm, you have to LOVE those old time hats and collars.

TOP SECRET

Some proof that I have not been lazy-ing it up for the past two weeks. Freshly completed top secret paper mache project.

HINTS: Slightly higher flour to water ratio worked the best for me. And really squeegee the paper strips (If it gets too soggy the balloons deflate) ...Also, I'd recommend this as an outdoor project. So much paper mache splatter to clean off the living room.

FRIENDSHIP

An ink drawing with a collaged detail. Drawn of old-timey friends for an old/current timey friend. Black ink on smooth bristol board.

ALSO, this drawing is photographed (not scanned) and I must say, the lines are much crisper in person.
